City Digital Skin Art Festivals 2025 (CDSA 2025)

Amaranthine features a 3D naked-eye animation to expand the interior visually, giving a sense of greater space. The animation was originally created for the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg (Screen resolution: 1848 x 464 pixel), Germany, and has been nominated for the CDSA 2025 award.

It will now be screened from November 15th, 2025, until January 4th, 2026, at the NTU Museum (INDEX@NTU) on a long panoramic screen at Nanyang Technological University and at TenSquare in Singapore.

Environment Design

Using 3D Naked Eye Amaranthine opens the confined interior by essentially placing the wall further back, even using the entrances for an additional layer of illusion by extending them further in the imaginary space. Visitors waiting in line are standing at the sweet spot, looking towards the screen creates the feeling of more space.

The environment of Amaranthine pairs cool, solid concrete with a roof of soft pink leaves that bathe the room in cool, shifting light. This contrast of permanence and delicacy reflects the work’s theme of memories that endure yet remain alive and changing.
